Everything about what Haiku connects, how it stays private, and how to get set up.
What exactly is Haiku?
Haiku is a platform that categorizes all of your conversations and contacts into different groups, whether it be personal or professional, to improve your communication skills.
Current messaging apps are super cluttered and offer no way to filter the people who deserve a response, from the ones that don’t.
With Haiku, only the contacts you approve populate the dashboard, so you’ll never have to worry about spam. And AI helps you stay on top of correspondence in every interaction from your dear Grandmother to your CTO.
What other features does Haiku have?
Haiku lets you schedule texts to be sent, send texts separately to multiple individuals at the same time, automate texts, track deal flows in the pipeline, switch from platform to platform (iMessage, WhatsApp, Signal, Telegram), get analytics on conversations, import CSV’s, and much much more
What makes Haiku different from other CRM’s?
Haiku is fundamentally different from traditional CRM’s because it is centered around your personal contacts and messages.
Most CRM’s are email-centric, which works great for leads, but not so much for day to day conversations, where 90% of communication takes place.
Which apps does Haiku connect?
Haiku brings iMessage, WhatsApp, Signal, Telegram, Gmail, and Google Calendar together in one native Mac app. You read and reply across all of them without switching apps.
Is Haiku private?
Completely. Haiku runs entirely on your Mac, with no analytics and no tracking of any kind.
Does my data ever leave my Mac?
No. Your messages, contacts, and calendar never leave the device. The only things Haiku ever sends to our servers are a license check and a version-update ping.
What do I need to run it?
macOS 13 (Ventura) or newer, on Apple Silicon (M1 or later). It needs about 200 MB of free disk space and an internet connection for license checks (with a 14-day offline grace period).
How much does Haiku cost, and is there a trial?
Three plans, same full app on each: $14.99/month with a 1-month free trial, $119.99/year with a 1-month free trial, or $249.99 one-time lifetime with a 14-day refund window. On the monthly and yearly plans you're not charged until the trial ends — cancel before then and you pay nothing.
How do I get my license key and activate it?
After checkout, your license key is emailed to the address you used to pay. Open Haiku, paste the key in, and you're activated. If the email doesn't arrive, you can resend it any time from the Manage page.
How do I cancel or manage my billing?
Head to the Manage page and open your Paddle billing portal — there you can update your payment method or cancel monthly/yearly anytime. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep full access until then.
How do I move Haiku to a new Mac?
Your license is tied to one Mac at a time. If you still have the old Mac, open Haiku there and release the binding from inside the app. If you no longer have it, request a release link from the Manage page — we'll email it to you so you can free the license and activate it on the new machine.
